Urban Health
Examines how urbanisation and spatial inequalities shape population health in rapidly growing cities, particularly in sub-Saharan Africa. This work uses geospatial data to capture variations within and across urban areas—focusing on access to services, urban gradients, and neighbourhood-level risk. It generates fine-scale evidence to better understand how health outcomes vary across the urban continuum and to inform more equitable urban health responses.
